[ missy + sully | private residence, norfolk ]

Posted in: Weddings

Okay y’all, this wedding has to be one of the most fun ones I have ever had! Missy and Sully said their I Dos at her parents’ house on the last Saturday of December and just wanted to celebrate. Sully proposed in October and Missy’s mom immediately started pulling together an a-team of vendors. Having worked with a local florist for years, her mom has the best eye for details and knew exactly who to add to their team to make them all a reality.

Missy and Sully had their ceremony in her parents’ living room which was still so beautifully decorated for Christmas. They were wed by their siblings, in front of a small crowd of family and toasted to their marriage immediately after. I really loved that their families had some time to enjoy the excitement together before the guests started arriving for the celebration afterwards. After a heartfelt thank you speech, all of the formalities flew out the window and the Ungermans and Callahans threw one heck of a party! There was a stunning arrangement atop an ice sculpture in the center of their clear-top tent, accented in the most beautiful greens, corals, and pinks. Cuisine and Company had the most extravagant stations, and the dance floor was packed all night long! These two couldn’t have been more excited to finally be married! Congratulations Missy and Sully!
